Meeting / Retreat Design & Facilitation
A seasoned meeting planner and facilitator, I collaborate with clients to design and deliver inclusive and impactful strategy retreats, coalition meetings, and other important events. I’m also available for day-of facilitation.

Strategic Partnerships & Coalition Building
Building broad-based coalitions united in a shared vision for change is vital if we are going to do transformative work. But it can also be incredibly challenging. With experience as an environmental campaigner, union organizer, and coalition builder, I thrive on bringing together disparate groups of people to advancing transformative change. I am especially passionate about developing alliances between labor and environmental groups, having built successful ‘Blue-Green’ coalitions around development issues, ballot measures, and regulatory proposals.
Rapid Response & “Movement Moments”
Identifying and mobilizing around key moments has become a critical tool of social movements and campaigns to rapidly transform public dialogue and win transformative change. Whether unplanned moments like oil spills, policy announcements, or climate-influenced natural disasters - or planned actions like strategic mass mobilizations, I partner with organizations to quickly develop and implement plans to leverage these moments, building both their organization and movement in the process.

Land use: Research & Strategic Campaign support
What first brought me into the environmental movement decades ago was fighting urban sprawl, and the enormous impact it has on both communities and our environment. Since that time I have worked on dozens of land use issues, defeating development projects proposed by some of the wealthiest landowners and developers in the country. I support clients in identifying key strategic levers to stop bad development projects, as well as designing campaigns and public communications strategies.
